Church Based Studies
Whether you prefer studying on your own, in a small group, or a combination of the two, there is a growing number of resources designed to help members of local congregations grow in faith. For the most part, these resources are accessible to all people, regardless of their level of faith development and study. Covering a variety of topics and employing several different approaches, there is something here for everyone.

Please note: Beyond those studies that we create and post, like Starting Point, we do not control the content you may encounter nor do they always reflect our core theology. If you run across something that seems counter to who we are as a faith community, please let us know.
Sometimes the faith we were taught as children does not stand up to the realities of being an adult. This on-line class is designed to help you explore some of the places where there may be gaps between the basics of faith you were taught as a child and the faith you need as an adult. This class is specifically designed for the First Christian Community, though others are certainly invited!
Anthology provides studies on a variety of topics and can be used for individual or group study. It is free, super easy to use, and can be accessed on any computer or mobile device.
ChurchNext is not just a class, it is an entire library of classes on topics ranging from scripture to faith formation in families. Each course takes about 45-60 minutes to complete on average and can be taken at your own pace. The cost of each course is $10.00, but there are subscription options that can reduce that cost substantially.
