FCC Member Provides a Warm Hug for Homeless Community
The winters in Louisville can be cold! This is especially true for our city’s homeless residents.
Seeking to use her talents for knitting and crocheting, church member Marsha Jonas requested a grant that provided her with the materials needed to make blankets, what she calls “Warm Hugs.”
Together with other volunteers, Marsha and her team are providing some loving care for those who are most vulnerable among us. Her hope is not only to help the homeless fight off the cold, but to know that they are not alone.
The wholeness grant used to fund this ministry was made possible through your faithful financial support of our church and its ministries and help fund a variety of efforts to make our world a better place.
