FCC Member Shaves his Head to Help Save Lives
For the third year in a row, church member Elliott Crumbo shaved his head to help save lives. His effort is part of the annual shave-athon at Saint Albert the Great Parish School in Louisville and supports the St. Baldrick's Foundation and their fight to conquer childhood cancer. St. Albert is the first school in the nation to organize a school wide effort for this great cause. Boys get their heads shaved and girls can donate braids that are 8 inches or longer.
As part of his effort Elliott called family members and friends and went door to door in his neighborhood to raise funds supporting his effort. His hard work paid off and Elliott was able to raise almost $700.00.
Upon seeing his hard work, his effort, and his gloriously shaved bald head, his church family added $100.00 to his total through a wholeness ministry grant.
We are so proud of Elliott for his willingness to help bring wholeness to this world in this way. His effort is an inspiration to us all!

The wholeness grant used to fund this ministry was made possible through your faithful financial support of our church and its ministries and help fund a variety of efforts to make our world a better place.
