First Christian Provides Scholarships for Summer Camp

First Christian is always eager to provide support to our local schools and their students.

In the summer of 2017 that support included providing scholarships to help low income students attend Summer Visions camp at Louisville Central Community Center’s Kids Art Academy. The summer camp included classes in visual and performing arts, field trips, and other activities that helped participants develop skills that improve academic achievement and social well-being.

The camp is located in the historic Russell neighborhood of Louisville.

The wholeness grant used to fund this ministry was made possible through your faithful financial support of our church and its ministries and help fund a variety of efforts to make our world a better place.
