First Christian Youth Help the Homeless

Today's ministry story celebrates the efforts of the very first wholeness grant that was given out. The youth of our church, who often lead the way for us, asked for a grant that would allow them to put together "share the warmth kits" to be given to members of Louisville's homeless community.

Here are some of the items included the kits:

*Candles

*Matches

*Socks (all sizes. Can be used for socks or mittens)

*Gloves

*Cough Drops

*Chapstick

*Granola Bars

With the support of the wholeness grant, along with additional donations of the above items, the youth were able to put together 100 kits. These kits were distributed in February of 2015. The video above shows the kits being put together as well as being delivered.
