Search Committee Update - May 11

First Christian Church has appointed a Search Committee to conduct the search for a new Senior Minister. The committee is chaired by Alan Parsons. The other members of the group are Patty Rankin, Kathy Olliges, Gary Fogle, Tonya Bordy, Scott Lanter, Gracelyn Jack and Amanda Stratton. The committee is meeting every other week and will send updates to the congregation and regular intervals. See below for their latest update and for our search timeline.

May 11, 2021

The committee met May 11 and conducted a detailed review of congregational survey responses received as of the meeting (120 responses) including cuts of the data by age and length of membership at FCC. The survey response was outstanding and gives the committee a great deal of confidence that the results accurately reflect the congregation. The committee members’ initial observations were captured, and the committee discussed the best format to share the results of the survey. You can find those survey results by clicking HERE.

The committee intends to complete the congregational survey summary at its next meeting targeting an early June, if not late May, publication.
