Stay-at-Home Mission Trip!

What we’re doing: We’re planning to spend our mission week at “home” this year. We’ll be working in and around First Christian Church buildings and property. Because they will be on summer break, our primary focus for the week is to complete work on First Kids. Why we’re doing it: Our building needs a little (ok, a lot) TLC and we know many hands might for light work. We need your time and talent!

How you can participate:

Team Leader:

• Select a task or tasks from the list of tasks to be completed (below).

• Form a team of people.

• List items and “to-dos” needed to complete the task.

• Select dates and times to work during the week.

Team Member:

• Volunteer to be on a team.

• List your skills or specific tasks that you can do.

• Indicate when you are available to work.

Benefactor:

• Donate funds to purchase needed materials (see below).

We hope to have the church open for morning, afternoon, and evening projects. There are jobs for everyone, if you cannot stand, we have things you can do while sitting.
